The gate does not open when I scan my e-ticket – what should I do?

If the gate does not open when you scan your e-ticket, try the following:

  1. Turn off NFC on your smartphone
  2. On Android devices, the NFC function may interfere with scanning. Temporarily turn off NFC via Settings > Connections > NFC.
  3. Hold your phone at a distance from the scanner
  4. Move your device slowly towards the glass scanner with the ‘Scan tickets’ symbol. Avoid direct contact or jolts to the device.
  5. Use a suitable gate
  6. Only gates with the ‘Scan tickets’ symbol accept e-tickets. Other gates will not respond.

Still not working? Ask a station employee for assistance or contact customer service.
